The Canada Games?are Canada’s largest national multi-sport competition for young athletes. The event brings together the top young amateur athletes in Canada who compete for their respective province or territory.
The Canada Games take place every two years, alternating between the summer and winter program. The Games act as a stepping stone in the development of Canada’s next generation of national, international, Olympic and Paralympic champions.

Wheelchair Basketball at the Canada Games
Wheelchair basketball made its debut at the winter edition of the Canada Games in 1995. The competition is open to male and female athletes 24 years old or younger. Both athletes with a disability and able-bodied athletes are eligible to compete in wheelchair basketball for their respective province or territory.
